Dr. Racha Sankar is a pharmacist and a registered, licensed dietitian in the United States, holding a PhD in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. She serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance within the Functional Nutrition program at Parker University, and is also a lecturer in the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition at Florida International University.

Her research interests focus on food security among minority populations, nutrition, and weight management. She supervises graduate research on weight-management strategies for bariatric surgery patients and people with chronic disease, as well as applications of functional nutrition in clinical practice.

Her clinical practice centers on helping individuals living with excess weight or chronic conditions through evidence-based, practical, and sustainable nutrition strategies tailored to each patient's lifestyle, health history, and personal goals.
