Dr. M. Ihsan Kaadan, MD, MS

Dr. Ihsan Kaadan is a vascular medicine and internal medicine physician. Since March 2024 he has been an attending physician on the vascular medicine service within the Cardiology Section and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

He completed medical school at the University of Aleppo, internal medicine residency at Boston University / Boston Medical Center, and a vascular medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School / Massachusetts General Hospital in the Fireman Vascular Center. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Vascular Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and holds the RPVI credential in vascular interpretation.

His clinical work centres on peripheral artery disease, chronic venous insufficiency, venous thromboembolism and the interpretation of non-invasive vascular studies. He has published research on spontaneous coronary artery dissection, fibromuscular dysplasia and cardiac arrhythmias, and also holds an M.S. in International Health Policy & Management from Brandeis University.
