Dr. Majd Jazaerly is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist and cardiologist, currently practising as a cardiac electrophysiologist at Franciscan Health.
He earned his medical degree at Xavier University School of Medicine and completed internal medicine residency at USF Morsani College of Medicine / Blake Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Miami / JFK Hospital, serving as chief fellow, followed by a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Rochester / Strong Memorial Hospital.
His clinical work covers the evaluation and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation, and the implantation and follow-up of pacemakers and defibrillators. He has published research on arrhythmias and cardiomyopathies in journals including JACC and the Journal of Cardiac Failure, and is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Heart Rhythm Society and the American Society of Echocardiography.
