About the doctor

Dr. Anas Salkini is a pediatric cardiologist, board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and sub-specialty board certified in Pediatric Cardiology. He graduated from the University of Aleppo Medical School, completed his pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital, and his cardiology fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Herma Heart Center.

He then completed two advanced fellowships: interventional pediatric cardiology at Rady Children's Hospital, University of California San Diego, and pediatric cardiac intensive care at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford University.

He is currently Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Section of Cardiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he directs the High-Risk "Inter-Stage" Single Ventricle Clinic at The Children's Heart Center. He has published research and authored book chapters on pediatric cardiac catheterization, and teaches Syrian physicians through Syrian American Medical Society training programmes.
