My philosophy of patient care: patients deserve to be educated and empowered to make the decisions they believe are best for their lives. Patients and their physicians should always work together as one team against disease, building a strong relationship based on trust in order to achieve the best outcomes.
I provide compassionate, humane care to my patients and make a point of listening carefully so I can truly understand their needs. I also continually follow the latest treatments and therapeutic approaches in neurology, so that I can offer my patients the most current and best care possible.
I have always been fascinated by the precision and complexity of the human brain and nervous system. I chose to devote my skills and abilities to neurology so that I could contribute to improving the lives of patients with neurological disease.
What I enjoy most in working with patients is the relationship I build with them — I find great satisfaction in solving a problem for a patient or finding the right treatment. Neurological diseases are often chronic conditions that can profoundly affect quality of life, and treating them can make patients feel they have gotten their lives back.
