Dr. Khaled Bowarshi is a dual board certified psychiatrist with a special focus on depression treatment with over ten years of clinical psychiatry experience in depression treatment. Dr. Bowarshi obtained his medical degree from his hometown, Damascus University, and received dual training in Medicine & Psychiatry at WVU-Charleston. He took multiple leading positions throughout his career. Dr. Bowarshi was selected as dual chief at WVU during his academic training. He was granted the Outstanding Educator Award for excellence in clinical teaching. Dr. Bowarshi served on the physician council at CAMC.
Dr. Bowarshi pursued further TMS training at Duke then ECT and Ketamine training at Emory. Dr. Bowarshi established a new psychiatry practice focused on depression treatment in Tampa and Wesley Chapel. Dr. Khaled Bowarshi was elected as a director at the Clinical TMS Society in 2022. Dr. Bowarshi is a clinical assistant professor at Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2022 to 2026.
