Dr. Abduljabbar Alhammoud is a specialist in spine surgery and orthopedic surgery. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Arizona and works as a spine surgeon with Banner – University Medicine in the United States. He earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo and completed his orthopedic surgery residency in an internationally accredited (ACGME-I) program, followed by several advanced spine surgery fellowships at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, SUNY Upstate Medical University, Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, and Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. He also holds a Master's degree in Clinical Research from a joint program between Dresden International University and Harvard Medical School, and is certified by the American Board of Spine Surgery.
Dr. Alhammoud was named to the North American Spine Society's 20 Under 40 list for 2023 and has contributed extensively to research in spine surgery. He has advanced clinical experience in spine surgery, with a particular focus on treating spinal pain and injuries using the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques. He believes in delivering precise care aimed at restoring mobility as fully as possible and improving patients' quality of life.
